Meet Al Smykowski
Al Smykowski is a white, 56-year-old man troubled by palpitations. They come in paroxysms often precipitated by exercise, often lasting an hour or more, and compelling him to remain inactive until they stop. He had been aware of similar but shorter and less severe spells since high school days. He had no other history suggesting heart disease.
