Meet Jenny Schneider
Jenny Schneider, a 47-year-old librarian, has come to her doctor's office complaining of shortness of breath, fatigue, and anxiety.
"I moved into management about 6 months ago," she says. "I've waited years for this job to come along and now I can't even climb the stairs to my office without huffing and puffing. I've even cut back on my smoking, but it doesn't seem to help."
Ms. Schneider is divorced. She volunteers at the local animal shelter, and shares her home with 6 to 10 foster cats.
