- Chest: Rapid heart rate with regular rhythm.
- Abdomen: Slightly distended.
- Extremities: Peripheral edema present.
- Neurologic: Patient is slightly disoriented, appears lethargic and his speech is somewhat slurred. Cranial and sensory nerves normal. Patient shows generalized muscle weakness and mild hyporeflexia.
- Other: Dry mucous membranes. Diminished skin turgor.
